Lesson Programs at Bryn Taran
At Bryn Taran, lessons are offered in
private sessions or group sessions, we also have adult only lessons. Lessons include
much more then riding instruction. Each rider learns to care for their horse
before and
after riding. Riders learn to groom and bath the horse and they are taught tack
care and use.
Lessons begin as soon as you enter the barn. Each rider retrieves their lesson
horse from their
paddock or barn stall; they groom and tack the horse, and lead their horse to
the training ring.
Instruction time usually last 1 hour. Then it's back to the barn to clean-up.
New riders start off with a few private
lessons to help the trainer and rider become familiar with
each other. Based on the rider's ability and progression, the rider can join
the appropriate lesson group.
